摘要

隨著通訊科技不斷進步,通訊從文字、語音、進步到影像傳達。隨5G推展,網路速度有跳躍性提升,在快速且穩定的網路傳輸下,衍生許多突破性的應用,對生活造成許多影響。透由大量傳感器設置,對於車聯網、醫聯網、虛擬實境、智慧城市等應用能夠即時分析所需訊息,並能快速做出處置。像是車聯網的車對周遭事物的感測,並引導最佳路線。醫聯網能遠端對患者病情進行分析,讓醫師能快速地進行處置。虛擬實境能將更精緻更真實畫面傳輸到我們面前,甚至能作為訓練使用。智慧城市則能及時對城市內大大小小資訊做出分析,解決城市的各種問題,提升城市整體利益。5G發展將大幅改變生活型態,讓生活皆由網路去分析執行。

ABSTRACT

With the vast advancing progress in communication technology, the telecommunication structure has been rapidly transformed from traditional forms of pure text, voice into the complex images and videos transmission. The construction of 5th Generation (5G) Telecommunication Protocol has been promoting the transmitting speed of the network information into Gigabyte per second. The 5G network transmission protocol has also created many breakthrough applications which have induced dramatically impacts on our everyday activities. By setting huge amount number of sensors on urban streets and mobile devices, such as the Internet of Vehicles, the Internet of Medication, Virtue Reality, and Smart Cities, it is possible to analyze the required real-in-time information, and to provide quick resolutions for our everyday problems. For example, the Protocol of Internet of Vehicles can detect the surrounding objects, such as other vehicles, pedestrians and moving objects, and determines the best resolutions for drive safely under traffic regulations. With the aids of 5G, the medical network is able to analyze the patient's conditions remotely, so that the medical personnel can quickly diagnose the patient's status quo and provide real-in-time treatments. Virtue Reality technology transmits more refined and realistic images to human visions so that people can experience those on-site sceneries without personally presence. It is particularly useful for personal training such as drivers, pilots, or medical surgery operations through VR. In application of huge quantities of city information management in a timely status becomes more practical because city security hotspots can be timely monitored and detected everywhere in the city, and enhanced the efficiency such as traffic flow management, city security, city environment monitoring and protections for citizens. Current study surveys the possible applications of 5G and discusses the pros and cons for its future uses.
