Even though quality management and supply chain management have received much attention from businesses and academia for the past few decades, the linking of these two concepts (supply chain quality management – SCQM) is still limitedly mentioned in the literature. Maintaining quality across the value chain can enhance process efficiency, reduce deviation, thus brings forth competitive advantages to the business. This study looks into the factors that facilitate successful SCQM. A literature review of the recent studies in this field helped to construct an analytical framework for applying the analytic network process (ANP) using data collected from quality experts.
