摘要

波音作為全世界最大航空龍頭之一,航空科技十分發達,卻在短短半年之內發生兩起新型737Max失事案件,失事原因可能為該新增的操控特性增益系統-Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System (MCAS)異常,2019年3月12日所有737Max宣布停飛,並於2019年12月宣布將於2020年1月暫時停產737Max機型,此事件除了影響波音本身商譽、經濟損失,間接影響全球737Max機型的航班業務。因此,本研究之目的,在於探討波音737Max失事後對公司的聲譽及經濟影響,以及波音在事件發生後的危機處理作為。透過兩起事件的國內外文獻的蒐整與分析、探討,從停飛後至2019年10月底,發布多起重大訊息是否有依危機管理的方式加以處置。本研究期望利用風險管理及危機管理的方式評估事件,了解危機管理前災害的風險評估與監控的重要性,以及在事後提出相關改進建議,有效降低損害成本與節省組織資源,保障企業順利營運,降低相似的商業瑕疵事件再次發生。

ABSTRACT

Boeing is one of the world's largest aviation leading company. It’s science and technology of aviation is pretty mature. However two 737Max crashes occurred in within half year. The cause of the crash might be the new added Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System (MCAS) anomalous. All 737Max are announced grounding on March 12, 2019, in December 2019 it also announced that it will temporarily shut down the production of the 737Max machine in January 2020. This incident not only affected Boeing's goodwill but also costed economic losses. Indirectly affect the 737Max flight business worldwide. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of the Boeing 737Max’s Company reputation and economic. Also investigate Boeing's response to the crisis after the incident. Through analyzing and discussing the collation, and domestic’s literature of these two incidents. From grounding to the end of October 2019 whether releasing multiple major messages has been handled in a crisis management manner. This research expect to utilize the risk management and crisis management to assess events and understand the importance of risk assessment and monitoring disasters before the crisis management. And make related improvements after the fact. Effectively reduce the cost of damage and save organizational resources to ensure the smooth operation of the enterprise, reducing similar business defects incidents happen again.
