為因應目前全球化的發展與各國間的航空運輸網絡密集，目前世界各國間也相繼增建新機場或改善原有機場的各項軟硬體設施，台灣因目前兩座航廈老舊不堪也正加緊規畫建案與招標第三航廈工程，有鑑於第三航廈計畫已超過10餘年，建案與預定完成日期一再延後，本專題將以第三航廈發展的困境與窒礙難行的問題進行研究、探討與分析。
