軍校新生階段退/留組在報考動機、困擾問題之差異分析

The Difference of Motivation and Troubled Items between Withdrawal/Retention: Case Study of ROCAF Cadets

摘要

本研究以107學年度入學之新生為對象,於新生調適週(107年8月)時進行學生資料表之填寫,並於上學期結束時(108年1月),區分入學新生之就讀情況,現為退學者列為退學組(簡稱退組,計53員)以及續讀組(簡稱留組,計171員)後,將所填寫的背景資料進行計頻分析,以及利用卡方檢定分析退/留兩組在報考動機、困擾問題結果顯示之間的差異,以便掌握持續就讀軍校者之樣貌。在報考動機中被圈選次數最多的前五項分別為1就業保障、2嚮往飛行、3家人支持、4培養專長及5報效國家;而困擾問題的前五項則是有1自由、2學業壓力、3生活管理、4軍事訓練及5團體生活;至於退/留組之間的差異檢定,分析結果則發現不論在報考動機或是困擾問題之間的各題項均無任何差異存在。

ABSTRACT

The subjects of research were freshmen enrolled in CAFA in 107th school year. During the freshmen adjustment week (August, 107), cadets completed the Student Information Sheet. At the end of semester, research divided cadets into two groups: first, withdrawal group, who were dropped out, included 53 members. Second, the renewal group (referred to as the retention group, count 171 members). Statistical techniques used in this study included descriptive analysis and Chi square statistics. The results showed that: The top five items which have been circled in the motivation for applying for employment are: 1. employment security, 2.yearning flight, 3.family support, 4.training expertise and 5. serve the country. The other way, the top five items were 1.without freedom, 2.academic pressure, 3.life management, 4.military training and 5.group life. At the Chi square test, the difference between the withdrawal/retention groups were not existed, either motivation or the troubled items. We also discussed the application and the problem.
