模擬評估整合物聯網概念下老人跌倒危機處理之效益

摘要

近年來,台灣老人獨居與老人獨自在家的案例增加,衛生福利政策白皮書指出我國老人跌倒發生率為16.5%,當發生跌倒意外時。因無人知曉,無法立刻搶救,延誤救援時間,易造成憾事。物聯網 (Internet of Things, IoT)快速發展與應用已能提供相關感測裝置,在老人跌倒時通知相聯單位(如消防隊或醫院),以進行緊急救援。本研究針對IoT感應設備接收老人跌倒的發生位置,以蒙地卡羅方式進行模擬,採用均勻機率分布方式獲得跌倒發生位置與跌倒發生時間。使用的效益指標為老人跌倒後送抵醫院平均時間。結果顯示有配戴傳感器的老人,平均救援時間為33.7分鐘,而沒有配戴時間為347.3分鐘,可見兩者差距甚大,由數據中可得知有配戴裝置的情況下效益較高。

ABSTRACT

In recent years, the case of elderly fall has been increasing in Taiwan. Government policy white paper indicates the rate of elderly fall is 16.5%. Due to the accident is undetected that is the major factor of delaying the risk management. Internet of things (IoT) has a fast pace engaging human’s living environment that is able to provide sensors for the elderly fall at the convenience of emergency process. Objective of this paper is to evaluate the effectiveness in using IoT to target the elderly fall location and the risk management by Monte Carlo simulation. Measure of effectiveness is the expected time of elderly fall management. The result shows that the MOE for both of equipped with IoT sensor support and without IoT sensor support is 33.7 minutes and 347.3 minutes.
