ABSTRACT
In the past, the research found that stress will affect individual’s performance and behavior. It found that stress was a significant factor to cause accidents. The objective of this research is to develop the training program for dealing with flight stress of military pilots, which is to assist pilots to management their stresses. Reducing stress symptoms can minimize human errors and increase flight safety. The research was a “one-group pretest-posttest design”. There were 44 military pilots participated this research for conducting by “Heart Lock-in” training program. The measurement of “emwave2” and “course feedback forms” were used to assess the effectiveness of the training program. The findings include (1). the training program had significant increasing trainees’ coherence; (2) pilots were the same coherence among different demographic variables (age, class, military services, marital status and flight hours) before the training; (3) there were no significant difference among pilots’ demographic variables (age, class, military services, marital status and flight hours) after the training, so, it is not necessary for developing different training courses for different ranks, experiences and military services.
