ABSTRACT

Secret sharing technique has been extensively applied to the field of information security. In this paper, a simple (n, n) gray-level image sharing method is proposed to ensure the security of the secret image. The proposed method utilizes the base conversion operation and a codebook to generate n sharing images. Even though the enemy obtains n-1 or fewer sharing images, the secret image still cannot be revealed. Only when the n sharing images are all gathered, the secret image can be reconstructed.
